(Cincinnati, OH)- The groovy southern rock trio Buffalo Killers has joined the family at Sun Pedal Recordings (Warner Music Group/ADA). The band just finished their fifth studio album in Cleveland, OH at Crushtone Studios with producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Hoobastank) and will be releasing it via Sun Pedal Recordings in early 2014.

“We are riding high after recording for the last week with Jim Wirt,” says vocalist/bassist Zachary Gabbard. “We are very exciting to announce that we are now part of the Sun Pedal Family and can’t wait to share the new cuts with y’all.”

The band will be celebrating their signing this Saturday (9/21) in Cincinnati, OH at Barrio Tequileria.
About Buffalo Killers
Buffalo Killers are a southern style rock band comprising of brothers Zachary and Andrew Gabbard and Joseph Sebaali. They formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2006 and signed to Alive Records to release their self-titled debut album. The band drew the attention of Chris Robinson, who invited the band to open a string of dates for The Black Crowes in 2007. Following the tour, Buffalo Killers went in to the studio with Black Keys vocalist/guitarist Dan Auerbach who produced their second album Let it Ride in his Akron, OH studio.

Buffalo Killers released their third studio album appropriately titled 3 featuring the single Circle Day. The first thousand vinyl copies were released half on blue vinyl and half on purple. They followed that record up with Dig Sow Love Grow and the six song EP Ohio Grass. In 2013, the band signed to Sun Pedal Recordings and appeared at the Bunbury Music Festival in Cincinnati, OH with Fun, Teagan & Sara, Walk the Moon, and more. Their fifth studio album wasrecorded in Cleveland, OH at Crushtone Studios with producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Hoobastank) and will be released via Sun Pedal Recordings in 2014.
